All efforts are being made to ensure that safe practice is used to prevent any potential for coronavirus spread occurring at our facilities, potentially affecting you, our clients and our staff.
The Department of Health has issued directives that all clients of Health Providers need to follow:
If you have returned from overseas travel you are required to self-isolate for 14 days and cannot attend the clinic.
If you have had close contact with a person suffering from Coronavirus you are required to self-isolate for 14 days and cannot attend the clinic, close contact is being face-to-face for approximately 15 minutes with a person who is a confirmed case and had symptoms at the time or showed symptoms within 24 hours later.
If you have started treatment with us and fall within the above criteria Dr Lynn needs to be notified as your egg collection or transfer may need to be cancelled for that time and alternative plans made. If your partner is part of that treatment plan and will need to attend a health facility the same rules apply for them.
Furthermore, any procedure that is face-to-face, we need to limit support people attending the clinic or hospital to decrease the number of persons present in the clinics at any time and therefore the potential for coronavirus spread.
Check the website of the hospital in case they have any other urgent updates before you attend.
